18650 Cells Fabricated

Valgotech reached another major milestone in developing and commercializing its high-performance, made-in-USA lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries with the successful fabrication of 18650 cells. The 18650 cell format was fabricated as part of the Space Force SBIR Phase 1 project. This cell format is a standard for space systems and applications and moves Li-S batteries closer to becoming a significant game changer for unmanned vehicles and space applications.
